This web page I came across talks about podcasting statistics and the future of podcasts. 

It's quite informative and insightfull about the world of podcasts as it has charts about how popular podcasts have become. This came in useful when looking at how people listen to the radio and what age groups of people listen to the radio. Even though it is a fair short article I have managed to pull a fair bit of information out out it.

Radio Show analysis - Elaine Page on Sunday

This show is presenter led, by Elaine Paige and she goes through songs from different musicals. There aren't really any interviews apart from clips playing of people that have rang up and explaining what they are starring in and what pantomimes/plays/musicals they are acting in or are playing in their local area.

Genre
The genre of this radio show is easy listening, soundtracks and musicals. Its very easy to listen to as there is only the presenter to listen to, and there are no interviews or debates to contend with. It is a very laid back show and very much presenter led. 

Format
The format of this radio show is presenter led. And then she takes calls from listeners who then provoke a response from Elaine herself, and this will lead to her telling a story to the audience about a specific event in her life.

Thinking Aloud podcast - Ibiza

• Interviews with people who are in Ibiza
• Instudio guests - from Madrid
• It is a formal, structured interview
• The interviewer is asking for the guests personal experience of when he went to Ibiza for a week with young people
• "Tell me... what you encountered." - Its almost like he's asking for a spoken review of his holiday/ experience 
• The interviewee is telling the raw truth about hi experience in Ibiza - drugs, drinking, sex and alleyways, travelling home with STIs, broken bones etc. Sometimes coming home dead.
• He talks about how young people have to experience it, to accumulate social status - by posting of Facebook people will think they they're a top dog, but in reality they really aren't. 
• He talks about how Ibiza has changed since the 80/90s - its not like it used to be - people now go to take drugs/drink etc, and how it not a place for the older generation.
• He's also saying that Ibiza is a place where its a more extreme display of what most of the people that go there do on the weekends.

This interview is mainly guest led, the interviewee just provides questions that are open so he can have in depth answers.
